AiM offers some unique cables for unique installations.
Supplemental/Remote Power: This cable connects to the vehicles 12vdc power source to provide the additional power needed when multiple expansions cannot provide the necessary power from the basic Data Buss connection. One prime example is when multiple SmartyCams are installed. The supplemental power can be obtained by a two port powered Data Hub, or by this cable connected to one of the Buss ports of the typical four port Data Hub.
AiM also offers Data Buss cables with either an external microphone or a microphone jack. One unique application would be to connect a Raceiver radio frequency monitor headphone output to the microphone jack. Not only will the internal microphone record sound from the cockpit, but you will also be able to record the radio cosstalk between the driver and crew.
